Yoga Heights' "no barre, barre" class combines elements of ballet-barre, strength training, Pilates, and yoga to provide a full-body work out experience. Set to an exciting and motivating playlist, this class focuses on small muscle movements performed at high reps to isolate specific muscle groups. The class starts with a plank-intensive warm up followed by a series of upper-body exercises that use a combination of weights and no weights to target the biceps, triceps, chest, and back muscles. We close out class with a series of core-intensive exercises that target the upper, lower and obliques. Stretching and lengthening exercises are incorporated throughout to facilitate muscle recovery and flexibility. Bring your mat, water and your appetite for trying something new!
